A dual warehouse development located within Crestmead, the bold modern forms of the office spaces protrude from the established mass effectively defining the differing uses of space from the warehouse space. Primarily, these forms are abundant with strong horizontal lines and exterior glazing, effectively daylighting the offices spaces inside. The concept of natural daylighting continues through to the warehouse spaces too, with a series of repetitious windows breaking up the large exterior form. Additionally, the contemporary colour palette creates interest and visual amenity for the offices, promoting the businesses from the road and carpark as well as establishing itself as a node for the human-centred spaces. In the larger warehouse areas, a significant amount of space has been allocated for the occupants of these spaces to complete their specific industrial use, and access to vital amenities has been provided within the architecture such as large double-height spaces and roller doors. The pre-cast concrete panel construction additionally allows for fast and efficient construction and demolition if need be, and can be easily repainted.
